We are on our last night in Dresden and having a wonderful time.  I apologize for not posting sooner, but internet here is expensive as well.

We left the Czech Republic and made our way back to Germany to begin the final leg of our trip.  From here, we only have 6 days left and we are in a little bit of denial about it.

Dresden has been wonderful.  I have been here once before, but it looks different from this vantage point instead of from a business suit and a group of professors to organize.  We have had no meetings with government officials, no organized tours and no pre-paid admission to museums.  Today, we borowed free bikes from our hostel and took a 12 km ride down the Elbe to the Pilliniz castle.  We had to stop at the beer garden underneath the Blue Wonder Bridge on the way back.

Tomorrow at 11 we head for Berlin and we are super excited!
